from the stage to the studio...

Donnie Reis is known for his high-energy and deep, emotion-evoking performances as a long-time touring and studio violinist across multiple genres.

Heʼs also a U.S. Army Combat Veteran, a singer/songwriter, and producer/owner of Twelve 3 South Recording in Nashville, TN.

Multiple songs and albums Donnie has written, played on, and/or produced have ranked on various Billboard charts, several peaking at #1 (See Discography). In 2013, he founded a publishing company and his own recording studio, Twelve 3 South, to meet the growing demand for his production work. Twelve 3 South has quickly gained notoriety as one of Nashville’s premier recording studios.

His career has spanned multiple genres both in the studio and on stage. These include Pop (Zayn, Emma Zander), Holiday/Adult Contemporary (Straight No Chaser, Elizabeth Chan), Country (Larry Stewart, The Frontmen of Country, Home Free, Tayla Lynn and The Coal Miners, Arlo McKinley), Soundtrack (Amy Lee, History Channel, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, Food Network), Singer/Songwriter (Erick Baker, Caroline Glaser), Jazz (Tim Rushlow & His Big Band, Leona Berlin), Classical (Foreigner with the 21st Century Orchestra & Chorus), Alternative (Jonathan Jackson + Enation), and Gospel (Champion, Tye Tribbett, Byron Cage).

Donnie served his country with the US Army’s 1st ID in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was honorably discharged in 2009. Since then, he has made many notable performances as a continued service to the United States. These include several MWR/Navy Entertainment tours, The 2017 Presidential Inaugural Concert, and 2017 Inaugural Balls.
